I study antibiotic tolerance and persister cell formation in several of the ESKAPE pathogens. My research is on the molecular mechanism behind species-level differences in tolerance, and the role that energetics play. I have a special interest in single-cell microscopy.
Outside the lab, I run, hike, climb, and generally injure myself.
